What I Read: Consumer Trends: 2023 | The New Consumer The New Consumer puts out powerpoint slides each year that summarize American trends. The presentation is simple and effective. There’s one big headline followed by a graph or table. It tells you what’s important and shows the rest of the data.

Leon's List - 2022 Week 14

Dec 5, 2022
Leon’s List is a weekly post about waiver wire players I’m keeping an eye on. I followed the US Men’s National Team in the World Cup this past week. It’s been a wild ride of ups and downs. One interesting thing I noticed with the World Cup is the term knockout rounds. We don’t really use that term in American sports. We call it the playoffs or the postseason. And we’re one week away from the fantasy football playoffs.

In this short newsletter, I share the most interesting things that I’ve read, heard, and/or watched over the past week. What I Read: Starting Principles | Julian Shapiro Julian Shapiro found that he didn’t act on the life advice given to him. He noticed the advice would sit in his mind like trivia. It was something that he could recall but didn’t put into practice. He changed this fact by creating the Starting Principles framework.

Leon’s List is a weekly post about waiver wire players I’m keeping an eye on. It’s been a rough four week stretch of injuries for my fantasy team. Hollywood Brown goes on IR with a foot injury after playing the Seahawks in Week 6. The following week, Mike Williams suffers a high ankle sprain in the last minutes of the game. Then Deebo sits out with a hamstring injury in Week 8.
