Leon's List - 2022 Week 4

Sep 26, 2022
Leon’s List is a weekly post about waiver wire players I’m keeping an eye on. Players from Last Week It looks like Carson Wentz didn’t get his revenge in Week 3. He was sacked 9 times on his way to 9.64 fantasy points. Another dud was Jakobi Meyers, who was dealing with injuries and did not play last week. A concern going forward with him, and the Patriots, is that Mac Jones has a high ankle sprain and could miss multiple games.

Leon's List - 2022 Week 2

Sep 12, 2022
Leon’s List is a weekly post about waiver wire players I’m keeping an eye on. We skipped from Week 0 to Week 2 because I couldn’t count. Leon’s List considers players to pick up for the coming week, so it should reference the week ahead and not the one before. It’s fixed now and I should have the right weeks going forward. With that out of the way, let’s recap last week’s players.

In this short newsletter, I share the most interesting things that I’ve read, heard, and/or watched over the past week. This week is all about nerding out on fantasy shows. I have been deep into the worlds created by George R. R. Martin and J. R. R. Tolkien. What I Watched: House of the Dragon House of the Dragon is a prequel to Game of Thrones. It’s set about 200 years before the events of Thrones.

Leon's List - 2022 Week 1

Sep 5, 2022
Welcome to the first edition of Leon’s List! The NFL season is opening in just a couple of days. The Rams will be taking on the Bills in what Vegas is predicting to a high scoring affair. The over/under on the game is 53 points. I’m looking forward to this the game but am even more excited for Sundays filled with RedZone and Koa Pancake House. We don’t have anyone on waivers at the start of the season.

In this short newsletter, I share the most interesting things that I’ve read, heard, and/or watched over the past week. What I Read: How to Be Exuberant | Ask Polly This article hits home because I was going through the feelings Heather Havrilesky describes in this essay earlier this year. I felt stuck. Every day was just another day of doing the same things. Her advice is hilarious and poignant.
