Leon's List - 2023 Week 10

Leon’s List is a weekly post about waiver wire players I’m keeping an eye on.

Noah Brown (WR - HOU)

CJ Stroud went off last week for 470 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns. The numbers might be a fluke but Stroud’s talent is real. I expect Houston’s offense to keep improving as Stroud gains more experience.

Noah Brown seems to have secured the third receiver spot on this up and coming offense. He would make a good FLEX play for anyone looking to fill in that position due to byes.

Keaton Mitchell (RB - BAL)

Keaton Mitchell rushed 9 times for 138 yards last Sunday against the Seahawks. I can’t confirm if this came in garbage time or not. I didn’t watch a lot of this game because it was a total blowout.

But Mitchell’s speed and big play ability in undeniable. The Raven’s backfield is messy with Gus Edwards and Justice Hill sharing snaps. This would be a speculative add at best.

Chigoziem Okonkwo McBride (TE - TEN)

The Will Levis show came back to reality last Thursday. He followed up his 4 touchdown performance with 260 passing yards and an interception. But he passes the eye test. He looks calm under pressure and is able to push the ball with his arm strength.

I like Chig Oknokwo’s upside as Levis continues to learn.
