What I Heard:

Tim Ferriss Show 716 - Performance Coach Andy Galpin

This is a great episode that covers sleep, nutrition, hydration, and exercise. Here are some of the my takeaways from the podcast:

  • Drink half your body weight in water per day.
  • You can tell if you are dehydrated by WUT
    • Weight
    • Urine Color
    • Thirst
  • Respiratory rate is a leading indicator for many health issues. Start taking action if it’s over 13 breaths per minute.
  • Workouts are as simple as to 3-5.
    • 3-5 days a week
    • 3-5 exercises
    • 3-5 sets
    • 3-5 reps
    • 3-5 minutes of rest

What I Read:

Technical Analysis Can Reveal Underlying Market Structure

Brett Donnelly writes about his favorite technical analysis approaches in this short blog post. He looks at three indicators: slingshot reversals, support/resistance levels, and high volumes. Donnelly explains that these indicators tie back to real actions performed by traders in the market.

I like his approach because I can understand it without watching hours of YouTube videos.

What I Bought (Again):

Halo Raw Freeze Dried Dog Treats, Beef Recipe

Our dog, Thor, loves these freeze dried treats. It’s all natural, minimally processed, and packed with protein.

We give Thor one of these treats after he brushes his teeth. It’s a reward for letting me shove a toothbrush in his mouth. It’s made brushing his teeth less of a chore and something Thor looks forward to.
